We are the newly formed OLA Marriage and Family Ministry.
Marriages and Families are the fabric of society and of the Church. Families are witnesses and are called to be a source of love, faith and service to the world. Pope Francis reminds families at the recent 10th World Meeting of Families in Rome, to “Be the seed of a more fraternal world! Be families with big hearts! Be the welcoming face of the Church! And please pray, always pray!
The OLA Family Ministry is dedicated to serving all the families of the parish, to strengthen the love within families, their faith and service to the wider community. We provide faith formation, guidance, and support to all the families, at every stage of their lives together, to help them live as members of God’s family within the community.
Welcome to the OLA Family. We look forward to meeting you.
Mother’s Group
The OLA Mothers Group is part of the OLA Family Ministry. It is an informal, volunteer-run community of mothers from in and around the parish who come together twice a month to form friendships, pray together, and support each other in raising Catholic families. Our fortnightly gatherings (held on each 2nd Tuesday and 4th Thursdays of the month, 10am-12pm) range from play dates and excursions for children, to sharing time for meals, prayer, retreats and talks about Catholic formation.
