Why We Give to Our Lady of the Angels
Responding in generosity to what we have been given by God, is a hallmark of Christian discipleship.
Giving generously, faithfully and sacrificially, not only enables our parish community to fulfill the mission of the Church, it also brings about another important transformation – that which takes place within the heart of the one who gives.
In this way, the God who is never outdone in generosity brings to life the beautiful words of the Prayer of St. Francis: “For it is in giving that we receive.”
An investment in your parish is a meaningful investment. It’s where people’s lives are changed by getting to meet Jesus. Giving allows us the opportunity to become closer to God. When you invest in what matters to God, you strengthen your relationship with Him. In giving, like God giving us His only Son, it helps us to better reflect the character of God. He has given us everything. Our giving makes it possible to continue the current ministries at Our Lady of the Angels, explore the possibility of new ministries, and allows us to hear the Good News of God’s love for his people.
